Nine different acts open for Greta Van Fleet on the 2027 Into the Beginning Tour, and which ones you get depends entirely on when you go. Arc De Soleil and Edgehill play all 11 February shows. The Kooks play all 18 March shows, with Luna Li joining for the first 10 and Sana Sana Musica for the last 8. Larkin Poe play all 14 European dates alone. Portugal. The Man play all 16 July shows, with Sun Room for the first 8 and Friko for the last 8.
Every one of those openers was named in the tour announcement itself, so none of this is guesswork. The tour is 59 shows, starting Wednesday, February 3, 2027 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah and ending Saturday, July 31 at Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids, the band's home state. European tickets went on sale Friday, October 9, 2026, and North American tickets on Thursday, October 15.
The Nine Opening Acts
Each show has two opening acts except the European ones, which have one. The pairings hold steady across long stretches of dates rather than changing city to city, so you can work out exactly who you are seeing from your ticket date alone.
| When | Shows | Openers |
|---|---|---|
| Feb 3 to Feb 20 (US) | 11 | Arc De Soleil, Edgehill |
| Mar 2 to Mar 16 (US) | 10 | The Kooks, Luna Li |
| Mar 19 to Mar 30 (US west) | 8 | The Kooks, Sana Sana Musica |
| May 15 to Jun 4 (Europe) | 14 | Larkin Poe |
| Jul 5 to Jul 17 (Canada and Midwest) | 8 | Portugal. The Man, Sun Room |
| Jul 20 to Jul 31 (East and Canada) | 8 | Portugal. The Man, Friko |
The Kooks are the biggest name of the nine. The Brighton band behind "Naive" and "She Moves in Her Own Way" have been headlining their own tours for twenty years, and putting them in front of Greta Van Fleet in arenas is the kind of double booking that sells tickets on its own. They play all 18 March dates.
Portugal. The Man carry the whole of July. "Feel It Still" made them a radio fixture, but the live show leans much harder into psychedelic jamming than the singles suggest, which makes them a natural fit here.
Larkin Poe play all 14 European shows on their own, with no second opener. Rebecca and Megan Lovell build their sets around slide guitar and sibling harmonies, and of all nine acts they are the closest match to what Greta Van Fleet actually do on stage.
Luna Li plays the first 10 March shows. The Toronto musician writes dreamy, string-laced indie pop and plays violin, harp, guitar and keys herself, so expect something far quieter than the two acts following her.
Sun Room take the first 8 July dates. They are a young San Diego band playing fast, scrappy surf rock, and they are the scrappiest, loudest thing on the whole tour.
Friko play the last 8 July dates. The Chicago band's 2024 record Where we've been, Where we go from here got them a lot of attention for exactly the thing that suits an amphitheater: songs that start small and end enormous.
Arc De Soleil and Edgehill open together for all of February. Arc De Soleil play psychedelic instrumental music built on melodic guitar lines, and Edgehill play straighter guitar rock. Both are early in their careers, so February is the run where getting there early is most likely to show you a band you have never heard.
Sana Sana Musica play the last 8 March dates, covering the western shows from Anaheim through Denver.

Tickets and the Face Value Rule
The thing worth knowing about this tour has nothing to do with the openers. Every ticket is sold at face value plus fees, the prices were set before tickets went on sale and do not move during the sale, and there are no platinum tickets anywhere on the run. That means the price you see is the price the band set, not a number that climbs as seats disappear.
European tickets went on sale Friday, October 9, 2026 at 10 a.m. local time, after a fan presale on October 7. North American tickets went on sale Thursday, October 15 at 10 a.m. local time, after a fan presale on October 13. VIP packages are available for the US and Canadian shows.
Current listings are on Ticketmaster's Greta Van Fleet artist page and on SeatGeek. For more arena rock dates on the calendar, see our rock tour dates page.
Why the Tour Exists
Into the Beginning follows Palace for the People, the band's fourth album, released Friday, October 9, 2026 on Republic Records. It is their first full tour since the Dreams in Gold tour finished in 2023. The quiet years in between, which the four members spent on side projects, had fans wondering out loud whether the band was finished, so a 59-show run across the US, Canada, the UK and Europe is about as direct an answer as they could have given. Arenas carry the winter and spring shows, then the back half of July moves outdoors to amphitheaters.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is opening for Greta Van Fleet in 2027?
It depends on the date. Arc De Soleil and Edgehill open the 11 February shows. The Kooks open all 18 March shows, with Luna Li through March 16 and Sana Sana Musica from March 19. Larkin Poe open all 14 European shows in May and June. Portugal. The Man open all 16 July shows, with Sun Room through July 17 and Friko from July 20.
Do The Kooks play every date?
No. The Kooks play the 18 US shows in March only, from Detroit on March 2 through Denver on March 30. They are not on the February, European or July dates.
Who opens the Cleveland show on March 3?
The Kooks and Luna Li. A few tour listings printed Portugal. The Man and Sun Room for that night instead, but Rocket Arena's own event page names The Kooks and Luna Li, so that is the one to trust.
Is there more than one opener at each show?
Yes, everywhere except Europe. All 45 North American shows have two opening acts. The 14 European shows have Larkin Poe only.
When do doors open and what time does the music start?
Most of the announced shows list a 7 p.m. start. With two openers playing first, Greta Van Fleet generally will not be on stage until roughly two hours after that, so getting there at 7 means you see all three bands.
How much are Greta Van Fleet 2027 tickets?
Prices vary by city and seat, but every ticket on this tour is sold at face value plus fees, with no platinum tickets and no prices that change during the sale. Whatever a seat costs when you look, that is the price the band set for it.
Is Greta Van Fleet playing Los Angeles, New York or Chicago?
Not in those cities exactly. The closest shows are Anaheim on March 19 for the Los Angeles area, Brooklyn on March 8 for New York, and Rosemont on February 12 for Chicago.
