Rush Fifty Something Tour: Every Remaining 2026 Date, Plus 4 New Cities
Rush added four new North American arena shows to the Fifty Something Tour on August 31, 2026: Houston on October 1, St. Louis on October 21, Cincinnati on October 23, and Pittsburgh on November 15. Presales for those four started Tuesday, September 1 at 10 a.m. local time, and the general public on-sale is Friday, September 4 at 10 a.m. local. Every other 2026 and 2027 date is already on sale.
That brings the tour to 92 announced shows. 36 of them are still ahead, starting with Montreal on September 2 and running through Vancouver on December 17, before the tour crosses into South America, the UK and Europe in 2027. There is no opening act on any date: these are billed as "evening with" shows, two full sets a night with no support slot.
The Four New Dates
| Date | City | Venue | On Sale |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thu, Oct 1 | Houston, TX | Toyota Center | Fri, Sep 4 at 10 a.m. local |
| Wed, Oct 21 | St. Louis, MO | Enterprise Center | Fri, Sep 4 at 10 a.m. local |
| Fri, Oct 23 | Cincinnati, OH | Heritage Bank Center | Fri, Sep 4 at 10 a.m. local |
| Sun, Nov 15 | Pittsburgh, PA | PPG Paints Arena | Fri, Sep 4 at 10 a.m. local |
Citi is the official card of the tour, and Citi cardmembers get first access from September 1 at 10 a.m. local through September 3 at 10 p.m. local via the Citi Entertainment program. One thing worth flagging: rush.com's own date table currently lists "on sale September 2" next to these four rows, while the band's announcement gives Friday, September 4 as the general on-sale. If you want these seats, watch both days.
Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson explained the additions plainly in the announcement: "When we initially booked this tour we didn't know how well we would hold up to the rigours of the road, so we played it safe with lots of days off to recover, but life is nothing if not surprising and we're doing fine and having a blast, so why not try to hit a few more of the cities that have always treated us so well."
These are single nights. Every other city on the North American run got two or more shows, which makes Houston, St. Louis, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh the four hardest tickets on the schedule by simple math.

Dates are cross-checked against rush.com's official Fifty Something itinerary as of September 1, 2026. Note that the routing was revised after the original October 2025 announcement, so older aggregator listings still carry retired Fort Worth dates. Trust the band's page.

The 2027 Leg: South America, UK and Europe
The tour does not end in Vancouver. Rush plays 30 more shows between January and April 2027, opening January 15 at Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires and closing April 10 at Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki. Those dates went on sale back in February 2026 and are the band's first European shows since 2013.
| Month | Cities |
|---|---|
| January 2027 | Buenos Aires, Santiago (2), Curitiba, São Paulo (2), Rio de Janeiro |
| February 2027 | Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Munich, Cologne |
| March 2027 | Hamburg, Stuttgart, Glasgow (2), Manchester (2), London (3), Kraków, Milan |
| April 2027 | Basel, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki |
The three London nights at the O2 on March 16, 18 and 21 are the biggest block of the international leg.
Who Is in the Band Now
This matters more than usual, because the lineup is not the one that ended the R40 Tour in 2015. Geddy Lee plays bass, keys and sings. Alex Lifeson plays guitar. Anika Nilles, the German drummer and composer who spent more than 60 shows behind Jeff Beck, takes the drum chair. Loren Gold, who has played with the Who and Roger Daltrey, was added on keyboards.
Neil Peart died in 2020, and the tour is framed around honoring him rather than replacing him. Peart's widow Carrie Nuttall-Peart and daughter Olivia gave the run their public support when it was announced.
What the Show Is Actually Like
Two sets a night, no opener, roughly three hours. The band builds each night's setlist from a pool of more than 40 songs, so consecutive nights in the same city genuinely differ. If you are choosing between two nights in Boston, Cleveland or Denver, there is no wrong answer, and fans doing multiple nights are not paying twice for the same show.
Reviews from the summer leg have been strong across the board, with Rolling Stone, Billboard, Paste, Forbes and the Los Angeles Times all filing positive notices. Nilles in particular has drawn praise for handling a part that most people assumed was unplayable by anyone else.
Tickets and Pricing
The practical picture as of September 1:
- The four new cities are the only fresh primary inventory. Everything else has been on sale for months, so what is left there is remaining primary plus resale.
- Single-night markets carry a premium. Houston, St. Louis, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh each get one show. Cities with two nights spread demand across both.
- Midweek is the value. The Monday in Boston, the Monday in Denver and the Monday in Tampa are the softest nights on the routing.
- Watch for production holds. Arena shows routinely release blocked seats behind and beside the stage in the final week before the show, and that is the legitimate way sold-out dates get seats back.
