Radiohead 2027 Tour: All 21 Dates, and Why There Is No North America Leg
Radiohead will play 21 shows in 2027, all of them in Australia and Japan: four nights in Perth, six in Melbourne, six in Sydney, and five in Saitama, running from May 3 through June 13, 2027. There are no North American dates, and there will not be any. The band posted the itinerary on September 7, 2026 with an unusually blunt note attached: "There will be no extra dates announced. These are the only shows that Radiohead will be playing in 2027."
That answers the question most American fans have been asking since the band returned to the stage in late 2025. Radiohead has not played North America since August 1, 2018, at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center, now Xfinity Mobile Arena, and the 2027 calendar does not change that. The band did add one softening line: "The band hope to do more shows elsewhere in the future."

Two venue notes, because both buildings changed names recently. Afterpay Arena in Sydney is the Olympic Park venue long known as the Sydney SuperDome, which carried the Qudos Bank Arena name from 2016 until it reopened under its current name in July 2026. GMO Arena Saitama is Saitama Super Arena, which took on its first corporate name in April 2026 under a six-year naming rights deal. If you see those older names on a listing, it is the same room.
These are Radiohead's first Australian shows since 2012 and their first headline concerts in Japan since 2008. No opening acts have been announced for any date.
Why There Are No North American Dates
This is not a routing accident. In a March 2026 Rolling Stone interview, guitarist Ed O'Brien described the band's new touring model plainly: "What we're going to do is, every year we're going to do a different continent, and we're going to do 20 shows each year. No more, no less." His reasoning was about preservation rather than scarcity: "We want to give absolutely everything each night. We do not ever want it to be like we're going through the motions or we're having to run on empty."
The 2027 announcement follows that template almost exactly. The 2025 return was Europe: 20 shows across Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin between November and December. The 2027 run is Asia and Oceania, and at 21 shows it is one night over the stated quota. O'Brien himself has since told fans to take the number "with a pinch of salt," so the arithmetic is a guideline, not a contract.
What that model does mean for American and Canadian fans is straightforward: North America is a future continent on the rotation, not a 2027 one. O'Brien has said the routing plan takes the band to North America, South America and Asia and Oceania, but no dates, cities or year have been announced for a North American run. Anyone selling you a Radiohead 2027 US ticket is selling you something that does not exist.

How Tickets Work
There is no conventional on-sale for these shows. Both markets run on a registration system, and registering is the only way in.

Both markets cap you at four tickets: per registration in Australia, per application per performance in Japan. Reported ticket prices land between AUD $139 and $349 for seated tickets and AUD $199 for standing in Australia, with Japanese tickets at ¥15,000 to ¥30,000 seated and ¥26,000 standing. Those figures come from the announcement coverage rather than a posted price grid, so treat them as a range and confirm at checkout.
The Australian window is the urgent one. If you are reading this on September 8, registration closes in roughly two days, and missing it means you cannot buy in the September 15 sale at all.
What the 2025 Shows Suggested
The European run was the band's first touring since 2018, and it set expectations worth carrying into 2027. Radiohead played multi-night stands in a single city rather than one-offs, which let the setlist move meaningfully from night to night instead of locking into a fixed greatest-hits shape. Fans who caught two nights in the same city generally got two substantially different shows.
The residency format also creates a practical calculation for anyone traveling. Six nights in Sydney and six in Melbourne means far more inventory in one place than a single arena date would offer, and it makes a two-night trip a realistic plan rather than a lottery win. That cuts against the assumption that a 21-show world calendar automatically means impossible tickets.
One caution from 2025: the Copenhagen dates were postponed by two weeks after Thom Yorke developed a throat infection. A compressed residency schedule leaves little slack, so build a little flexibility into non-refundable travel.
