Who Is Opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd & Foreigner in 2026? Six Gun Sally, Loverboy & More

Two of classic rock's most durable road bands are sharing a stage all summer. Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner are co-headlining the Double Trouble Double Vision Tour, a 19-city amphitheater run that started in Atlanta on July 23 and wraps in Rogers, Arkansas on August 29. Both bands play full co-headline sets every night, which makes the support question simple to answer.

The Opener: Six Gun Sally

Six Gun Sally opens every date of the co-headline tour. If you're going, get there early: with two headline sets on the bill, doors and start times run earlier than a typical single-headliner amphitheater show, and the opening slot goes on close to gates.

Loverboy on Select Dates

Loverboy, the Canadian arena-rock band behind "Working for the Weekend" and "Turn Me Loose," was booked as direct support for Lynyrd Skynyrd's non-co-headline shows in West Palm Beach, Tampa, and Tinley Park. The Florida dates have passed; the remaining Loverboy appearance is the Tinley Park, Illinois show on August 15, a Skynyrd headline date sandwiched into the co-headline routing.

Foreigner's 50th Anniversary Dates Continue Into the Fall

The co-headline run ends in late August, but Foreigner keeps going. The band's Celebrating Fifty Years dates run through November 2, hitting theaters, casinos, and amphitheaters across the South, Texas, the Southwest, and California, including a Ryman Auditorium show in Nashville in August, an unplugged Las Vegas date at The Venetian in September, and a Halloween-weekend show in Lincoln, California with 38 Special as support. Donnie Iris joins the Toledo Zoo Amphitheatre date in August.

If you can't catch the double bill, those fall dates are the last confirmed chances of 2026 to hear "Juke Box Hero" live. The full schedule with tickets is on the Foreigner page.

What the Co-Headline Show Looks Like

Both bands play full sets, and both catalogs are wall-to-wall radio staples: "Sweet Home Alabama," "Free Bird," "Simple Man" on the Skynyrd side; "Cold as Ice," "Feels Like the First Time," "I Want to Know What Love Is" on Foreigner's. Between the two headliners and the opener, plan on a long evening, and note that most of these venues are lawn-and-pavilion amphitheaters: lawn tickets are the budget play, and this is exactly the kind of bill where the lawn is half the fun.
