Bonnaroo 2026: Lineup, Tickets, and Everything You Need to Know
Bonnaroo is one of the most beloved music festivals in the world, and 2026 is shaping up to be another landmark year on The Farm. Held every June in Manchester, Tennessee, Bonnaroo brings together hundreds of artists across multiple stages over four days — and the experience extends well beyond the music.
Here's everything you need to plan your Bonnaroo 2026 trip.
What Is Bonnaroo?
Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival takes place at Great Stage Park in Manchester, TN, about 60 miles south of Nashville. Since its debut in 2002, it has grown into one of the biggest camping music festivals in North America, routinely drawing 70,000+ attendees across 700 acres.
Unlike single-day festivals, Bonnaroo is a full multi-day experience. Most attendees camp on-site, creating a temporary city with its own restaurants, vendors, art installations, comedy tents, and late-night stages that run until sunrise.
The 2026 Lineup
Bonnaroo typically announces its lineup in January or February, with headliners anchoring What Stage on Thursday through Sunday nights. The 2026 roster spans rock, hip-hop, electronic, country, and everything in between.

Previous Headliners for Reference
Bonnaroo consistently books both legacy acts and current chart-toppers. Recent headliners have included Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Tool, Billy Joel, and J. Cole. The booking philosophy leans toward artists with deep catalogs who can command two-plus hour headline sets.
Tickets and Pricing
Bonnaroo offers several ticket tiers:
- General Admission: Includes festival access and basic camping. Typically the best value for first-timers.
- GA+: General admission plus upgraded camping in closer lots.
- VIP: Dedicated viewing areas, air-conditioned lounges, private bathrooms, and priority entry.
- Platinum: The full experience with premium camping, viewing platforms, and hospitality.
General admission tickets typically start in the $350–$450 range for early-bird pricing, with prices rising as the event approaches. Payment plans are usually available.
Check Ticketmaster and resale markets for current availability — Bonnaroo often sells out weeks before the event.
When to Buy
Buy early. Bonnaroo regularly sells out its GA and camping tiers. If you miss the initial on-sale, prices on secondary markets (Vivid Seats, StubHub) tend to spike in May and early June as the event approaches. The sweet spot for resale is typically 30–60 days out.
Stages and Experience
What Stage
The main stage. Headliners close each night here. Capacity is massive — over 80,000 standing — so you can find a good spot even if you arrive during the opener.
Which Stage
The second largest stage, with major supporting acts and some of the festival's most memorable performances. Artists like Vampire Weekend, Billie Eilish, and LCD Soundsystem have headlined Which Stage before graduating to What Stage.
This Tent / That Tent
Two large covered stages that host electronic, jam, and late-night programming. Sets here often run until 5am. If you're into DJ culture, these are your home base after midnight.
The Other Stage and Planet Roo
Smaller stages featuring emerging artists, comedy, and unique programming. Some of the most talked-about sets at Bonnaroo happen on the smaller stages.
Camping Guide
Car Camping
Most attendees choose car camping, which lets you park next to your tent. Lots vary in distance from Centeroo (the main festival hub). Closer lots fill fast — arrive early on Thursday to get the best position.
Centeroo Walk-In Camping
For those without a car or who want a smaller camp setup, walk-in camping is available. It's typically closer to the action.
Pod Camping
Glamping options with pre-set tents, cots, and some amenities. A good option if you want to skip the gear haul.
Camping Tips
- Arrive Wednesday if possible. Thursday arrival means longer lines and fewer lot choices.
- Bring shade. Tennessee in June is hot. A pop-up canopy over your campsite is not optional.
- Pack a portable charger. Power outlets are available but limited.
- The walk from far camping lots to Centeroo can be 20–30 minutes each way. Factor this into your schedule planning.
Getting There
Manchester, TN is accessible via I-24. There's no public transit to the festival — most attendees drive or carpool. Nashville is the closest major airport (BNA), about an hour away. Shuttles from Nashville and Chattanooga are available through the official Bonnaroo site.
Traffic on exit day (Sunday night / Monday morning) can be brutal. Consider staying Sunday night and leaving early Monday morning if your schedule allows.
What to Bring
Essentials:
- Tent, sleeping bag, and ground pad rated for summer heat
- Sunscreen (apply multiple times daily)
- Hydration pack or large water bottles — Bonnaroo has water refill stations throughout Centeroo
- Comfortable shoes you don't mind getting dusty or muddy
- Rain gear — Tennessee weather in June is unpredictable
- Cash for vendors (many accept cards, but cash is faster)
Leave at Home:
- Glass containers (prohibited)
- Outside alcohol (prohibited in Centeroo)
- Generators (prohibited in most camping areas)
- Drones
Food and Drink
Bonnaroo has an extensive vendor village inside Centeroo with dozens of food options spanning cuisines from around the world. There's also a dedicated late-night food area that stays open through the early morning hours. Expect to spend $15–$25 per meal at vendor stalls. Cooking at your campsite is generally permitted with propane stoves.
Plan Your Schedule
With 10+ stages running simultaneously, scheduling conflicts are inevitable. Our approach:
- Identify your 5–10 must-see acts first — these are non-negotiable
- Build around them, using the gaps for discovery
- Don't overplan. Some of the best Bonnaroo experiences happen when you stumble into a tent set you didn't expect

Is Bonnaroo Worth It?
For the right person, Bonnaroo is a transformative experience. The combination of world-class lineups, the camping culture, the art installations, the late-night programming, and the community of attendees creates something that single-day festivals can't replicate.
For first-timers: go with people who've been before if you can. The logistics of camping festivals have a learning curve, and having experienced campers in your group makes the experience significantly smoother.
