Justin Bieber's Coachella 2026 Weekend 2 Performance: Guests, Setlist, and Highlights

Justin Bieber returned to the Coachella main stage on Saturday night with something to prove. His Weekend 1 headline set had drawn criticism for being too loose, too laptop-dependent, and too light on the classic hits fans came to hear. Weekend 2 was a different show.

The Guests

The revised set leaned hard into surprise appearances, and it delivered on nearly every one.

Billie Eilish joined Bieber for "One Less Lonely Girl," a pairing nobody saw coming that stopped the crowd cold. SZA came out for "Snooze," which landed as one of the emotional peaks of the night. Big Sean appeared for "As Long As You Love Me" and "No Pressure," bringing the energy up mid-set. Sexyy Red joined for "Sweet Spot," and Dijon appeared for "Devotion," rounding out a guest list that spanned pop, R&B, and rap.

What Changed from Weekend 1

Bieber acknowledged the Weekend 1 reaction without addressing it directly. The most visible change was the addition of "Lyin," a fan-requested track that hadn't appeared in the first set. The pacing was tighter, and the balance between his SWAG-era material and earlier catalog shifted toward giving the crowd more of what they recognized.

The opening run still led with newer material: "All I Can Take," "Speed Demon," and "First Place" from the SWAG albums set the tone before the set opened up. But the classic-era hits arrived faster and hit harder than they did the week before.

The Aesthetic

The minimal stage setup stayed the same: a stripped-back production centered around a laptop, no elaborate set pieces, dressed casually in a hoodie and shorts. It's a deliberate artistic choice that divided opinions across both weekends. The music eventually did the work the production wasn't designed to do.

The Bigger Picture at Coachella 2026

Bieber's set closed out a Saturday night that also featured Kacey Musgraves making her first Coachella appearance since 2019 and Jack White delivering one of the weekend's sharpest nonheadlining performances. David Byrne took the Outdoor Theatre with a choreographed large-ensemble production that became one of the most talked-about sets of the entire festival.

Karol G closed out the full weekend on Sunday as the first Latina artist to headline Coachella, dedicating her set to her community. Sabrina Carpenter opened the weekend on Friday with celebrity cameos and a cinematic production that set a high bar from the first night.
